Well worth it, give it a go and with expensive labour costs, it really is cheap to service your motors, especially if you have two of them as we do on our Power catamarans. To do an oil change, just pump out your old oil, and then replace with new oil, back to the full level on your dipstick. Oil filters are just a matter of undoing and replacing with a new one. One service and the money saved will pay for your dipstick pump, so money well spent. After you've done your oil change, make sure you put your filling cap back on, and double check this, easy to miss, and can make a mess, or risk getting water into your oil and sump.
