I’ve tried to find a service manual for my 2010 128i. The best I can get is a DVD that is difficult, complicated, ambiguous and poorly layed out. I found a hard back publication called “BMW 3 Series (E90, E91, E92, E93) Service Manual: 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010” by Bentley that retails for about $140 but can be bought at Amazon for about $90. The 1 and several 3 BMW series have the same engine, an N52.
The front end for the E90 is the same for the E82, the rear end is similar to an E92, and several of the automatic transmissions for both 1 and 3 series are GMC 6L45. I contacted Bentley about a future publication but they responded that there are no plans to publish a manual for the 1 series. Does anyone have any experience with this manual?
Yep that's the one. It has a choice when opening the program to chose you year and model. Have t tried anything but mine yet. I have a 2009. Even though the seller specifies 2009-2010, I'll bet it covers a majority of the later cars. Seems worth it for ten bucks.
Who knows if Haynes, Bentley, or Chilton will ever release a manual for the E82/E87. That's exactly what I thought. When I got it, it was a burnt cd with sharpie writing on it. I said, well there goes $10. I installed it despite the sellers name and the backwoods cd. After I installed it I looked at a couple things I've already taken apart on my car to see if it was going to lie to me. Everything looked the same.
Human anatomy and physiology lab manual answers 6th edition. I'm pretty glad I tried it out and didn't end up with a virus or my identity stolen. Got a DVD off eBay for $10. It seems to be pretty good so far. Used it while replacing my clutch. Had torques sequences and specs along with pics. It's the alldata program. Worth my $10 already.
@bmw1racer posted the link. I just had my buddy who has a 2011 check the program. I left it at his house after the clutch install. He said he chose his year and model and it does list stuff for the N55 so for $10 you can't really go wrong. Even if it's not dead on specific it's in the same ballpark for everything else but the engine. But from what in being told it does have the later years.

It sounds like it. This is an online copy of the BMW TIS: However, this doesn't have any info for N55 or later cars. You're saying the DVD you purchased does?
